Yes it does, even if the slider for max players is not to 255 or 0 don’t worry that how the behavior works, just move the slider create the room and see. To check you can wait few people to join and then leave for the room stay alive and see that the number is 0 or 255 depending what you set 0 should be used if you want that more than 16 players can join the same room.

Yes if you are under iOS 14-14.x you can jailbreak your iDevice easily but you cannot downgrade from iOS 15 to 14 there a way but really unsafe and only available to some specific iDevices

and like I was if you are under iOS 14-14.x you can use unc0ver and checkra1n if you have a compatible iDevice with their exploit and there some other jailbreak tools but unc0ver and checkra1n are the most popular.
