    Did you by any chance abort any steps in the jailbreak process and rerun the jailbreak? I remember some steps taking about 10 minutes, where I thought the process was stuck and I aborted the process and ran it again.
    This caused my device to be a very weird state where it would not respring and show the palera1n app, while the terminal said it was successfully jailbroken.
    How I fixed it at the time was by restoring rootfs with 
    ./palera1n.sh --restorerootfs <iOS version> After that do a fresh restore and rerun the jailbreak. Follow the steps and be patient keeping in mind that some steps can take a while.
