do I need to jailbreak my ipad2 before this can work?

I used I funbox to access the ib3 files. I deleted the documents folder using the "sandbox" and I replaced it with the provided document/save. 

nothing happened to the game.

 

any suggestions are appreciated thanks

you don't need to jailbreak, just use the ibackupbot to finish the job.
