I own a 5th generation iPod Touch. Right now, it is on iOS 8.4 and jailbroken. However, I would like to update to iOS 9.3.3 and re-jailbreak. I believe iOS 9.3.x is the terminal update for the iPod Touch 5th generation and I'm pretty sure that my device won't be receiving iOS 10. I know that Apple released iOS 9.3.5 and stopped signing all versions of the operating system below that, making it impossible to downgrade from iOS 9.3.5 back to iOS 9.3.3. However, is there any slim chance that I can upgrade from iOS 8.4 to iOS 9.3.3? I haven't read anything about being unable to upgrade, just being unable to downgrade from a higher version. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
