I receive a chmod: cannot access '/etc/hosts': No such file or directory and "Exited with code 256" when I try to install. I removed old hack prior to install new one. Thanks Edit: I noticed I didn't have a /etc/hosts file. Weird. Solved with a $ touch /etc/hosts via ssh as root user.

I installed the hack but it seems to have no effect in-game. I see the hack window when I open PvZ2 so it should be loaded. Any hint? I can't read 280 pages!
