I updated OPTC and the current mod (meant for 8.4.0) still works with 8.4.1

In Kizaru Forest, I think stage 12 (with Sentomaru) and in Raid barto, one of the mob despair you for 5 turns if you let him live. I'm also gonna test it today, but I seem to remember that when one of your unit is blown away (for example against Kuma), the game freezes too. I'll test that against Kuma, thanks EDIT: did Kuma without God Mode, went OK when a unit was blown away

And after testing, yes it works, thanks a lot ! I don't know if you're aware that if your captain is despaired and you attack, the game "freeze", i.e. it never goes back to your turn and stays on the enemy's turn.
