Did I or Did I not get a smoking deal?

Went to a garage sale or a landlord cleaning out sale today Got myself an Ipad Pro 12.9 inch screen 3rd gen (wifi only) 256 gb Screen is cracked and the body is bent (looks like someone sat on it) for $10.00 Yes I said Ten Dollars.  Guy was asking $50 but I said I don't know if it works ( it does as I had to charge it up) and I was able to completely erase everything and set it up new (wasn't locked to an account) To replace the screen it will cost me about $400.  Thinking I just might buy a good case for it.  Tell me your opinion.
