You take the Pokemon's latitude and longitude. You can either paste by right clicking on the tool bar, go into edit and paste or just right click somewhere in the box.

You type in what ever Pokemon's name you're trying to catch. Then it will proceed to ask for your latitude and longitude.

It depends where you are. It may take even more than just an hour. I suggested maybe distract yourself for more than an hour and then come back and see. I waited 20-40 minutes and now whenever I log back in, I can always catch Pokemons at times square.

New info: Once you can catch Pokemons and use Pokestops. You can close the app and take a break or/and turn off your phone completely. (this was actually accidental for me because my phone was heating up so much after an hour of grinding at Times Square #Blessed). It may take some time though to start if you closed Pokemon Go and your phone, however, maybe after 5-10 minutes (mine took 5 minutes of waiting until I can catch again then it immediately worked for me as many times as I restarted the app) you should be able to catch. Since you have already bypassed the soft ban, you can keep on catching more Pokemon in the area you are in if you are still faking the address. I have not tested out if the soft ban will activate if you fake another area but I will try to update new information to you all. GN/GM! *Note: this works for me and MAY not work for you. I am confirming this to everyone that this works! I am from Markham (a city that is beside to Toronto) and I waited at least/between 20-40 minutes and tried it on a pokestop. Thankyou KDotLegend for posting this!
