Can’t seem to get the hacks to work, when I tap on ‘hero’ it says the game needs to reload and then sets the currencies back to 0 and not unlimited

Not sure if i’m doing something wrong, but when I try to toggle the unlimited currencies hack it says the games needs to reload and then sets my currencies back to 0.
