Nope, new versions are not able to do those file replacements any longer becasue they use server to backup your game or something like that, in oder to make it work well you will need a jailbroken device:
1. Get a jailbroken device
2. Get Save file from Goggwell ready
3a. Download the old version of Shadow Fight 2 (1.0.0 or something like that) from somewhere i forgot, you'll have to search it up.
3b. Install it to your iDevice
4. Replace the files
5. Open and play the game few times, it will ask you to update
6. it will update by itself as well, so let it do that (dont update with appstore)
7. when update's done, your game file should still be the same and tadaa!!
8. Done!
 
I've personally encountered this problem myself, and i fixed it like this, although it takes you a while, but its worth it (if u really wanna hack SF2).
