Figured out a way around the unfortunate update situation. It's a little weird but I found it works until you stop using CapCut and go do something else. In the folder where the .exe file is, there should be a folder where the CapCut version you installed is and the update you don't is installed. The update is usually 7.5.3053 from what I've been getting. You just delete the update folder and launch CapCut as usual. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only way I've found it to work on my end.
