Hey everyone,
I’ve been a member of iOSGods for 2 years now, and I have to say—I’m honestly amazed by the talent and knowledge in this community. The mods, tweaks, and tools you all share are incredible, and I’ve spent countless hours exploring them.
Lately, I’ve become really passionate about learning how to mod iOS games myself. I’m not just looking for pre-made mods—I want to understand how they’re made, how the logic works, and eventually create my own. I have some basic coding background, but when it comes to reverse engineering, assembly, or using tools like Frida, Hopper, or Theos, I feel completely lost.
I’ve tried searching for tutorials, but most of what I find is either outdated, too advanced, or scattered across different sites. It’s frustrating because I know the knowledge is out there, but as a beginner, I don’t even know where to start or what learning path to follow.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you—the experts, the veterans, the ones who’ve been where I am now. I’m not asking for a step-by-step guide (though that would be a dream 😅), but I’d be incredibly grateful for any advice on:
· Where should an absolute beginner start? (tools, concepts)
· Are there any recommended resources (tutorials, videos) that helped you when you were learning?
· What’s the most common mistake new modders make, and how can I avoid it?
I know this is a lot to ask, but this community has always been about sharing knowledge, and I’m hoping someone might be willing to point me in the right direction. I’m not in a hurry—I just want to learn the right way and maybe one day give back to this community that’s given me so much.
Thanks for reading, and I really appreciate any help or even just kind words.
Cheers,
DeadSkullx
