The best advice is to have a hacked version on one device and a normal version of the app on a different device (if you can't have both on one). Get the amount of gems/rudollas/toot coins you want from the hacked version and then just play normally on the non-hacked app.

To fix this just download the regular app from the app store as well. use the hacked version to get the amount of currency you want, play a few matches so your progress saves, and then switch to the non-hacked version and continue playing.
