  1. Anyone try this on iOS 17? It works on 16.6 but haven’t tested 17 yet. It’s neat having free news on so many iOS versions lol. I kind of like The Wall Street Journal but would never buy it lmao.
  2. you're welcome. I added support for countries that don't normally have apple news but need to have some more people test it, mainly in China.
  3. How does one get 12k reputation and still be a newbie? After 8 years lol...  Anyways updated Apple News hack for ios 14-16.....  hacked it a little more this time removing most banners asking you to join Premium, so all content is free, minimal ads (one small mid scrolling banner every once in a while).  All magazines should be working now.

  4. Made nice update for ios 14-16... will try to make a build for lower firmwares when i add support for unsupported countries (like China).

I love it.  Plausible deniability.  If only I could get the iOSGods app without ads than make it unusable. 🙏

  6. I haven’t tried it on iOS 15 year about to update a device to 15.7 soon, but it works on every iOS I’ve tried that has a News+ subscription. Even let’s you follow magazines and newspapers normally ya have to pay for individually. The subscriptions are only good inside the app tho, so going direct to their website obviously wouldn’t work. only thing I didn’t bother with that I might soon is the podcasts and news in CarPlay. The audio news has a different paywall mechanism but I doubt it’s that hard or different. Also, since I don’t technically steal a subscription I just get it to move what was a paywall stopping you from reading, into a kind hint that you should try or buy News+, I feel like it’s gray enough i it shouldn’t be an issue open sourcing it. I’ve found a lot of websites using similar methods I’ve been able to hack my was past just with Flex Explorer. I’d love to make a WebKit wide version that worked on all paywalls not just Apple News. 😎
  7. Can anyone confirm if this works still? I’m allergic to Android, but a friend has Android everything, and I’ve never been subjected to so many ads before, both in YouTube and Spotify because I’ve had hacks for so many years I can’t remember ever using the regular versions. I don’t want to install a broken version or have it break something in an OS I’m not familiar with, though. Also, does anyone know of a working, decent YouTube APK?
  8. Still working on all the devices I use regularly, mainly iOS 13-14.X (I have two 14.2 devices wish I updated one to a higher iOS 14 or low iOS 15 when I had the chance. I just can’t ever bring myself to kill a perfectly good jailbreak.
  9. Your welcome. This is one of my favorite hacks as of late since it is only screwing over Apple. 😂
  10. Possibly Safari’s user defaults? That would be super easy to steal them if so, unless they are encrypted as data. That would make it a little harder. I know it’s not in the main [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] that you can find in FLEXing or Filza. I’ve gone through that several times exploring settings that were hidden, but available on the plist w/o even building a tweak.
  11. Yeah I keep most of my passwords in there. Safari is full of exploit potential (remember they’ve had several jailbreakme web exploits, and that’s just what was shared with the community). I’m not sure where the auto-saved passcodes are stored, or if they are more secure, I just know I can’t keep track of like 70 some passwords on like 9 devices without using a password service of some kind.
  12. It was the first I saw of them. It really rubbed in my face how lazy I was about re-using passwords. If someone breached one or two accounts they could guess like 70 more. With the huge hack the government went through as well as most big companies recently that e1 has been so hush hush about when it comes to specifics, I don’t think it’s too hard to believe at least one of those companies had my data breached, and that’s why iOS started giving warnings. I’ve only gotten them on my non-jailbroken iOS 14.2 device. I never got warnings on my jailbroken 7+ on 14.2, it was just weird timing that I was on the app when the warning popped up. There’s a lot more plausible ways it could have been breached, too. My Apple ID wasn’t a very strong password. They don’t require the auto generated strong passwords except for the app specific ones..
  13. No worries. Thanks. I’ll get in touch tomorrow. A probably unrelated issue, but as soon as I hit install the first time I immediately got a security alert (from iOS) saying several of my accounts were in a known data breach, so right now I’m having to change a million passwords. Some of them without two factor were already changed by whoever breached the accounts when I went to change them, so it was probably just weird timing and not a security issue with the app. I’ve been lazy with passwords for too long and now am paying the price for it.
  14. I used an app specific password (twice- two different ones) trying to install Cercube with my dev account with the iOSGods app but it keeps giving me an error saying something went wrong, if it persists to ask for support. (I don’t have a PC to use sideloadly) My UDID was correct. I checked that in iTunes and rechecked. I used a different bundleID each time. Does the Cercube hack require you use the original BundleID of YouTube? Also, is there any way to download the ipa so I can use Impactor if it won’t work with the iOSGods app?
