You guys can downvote me or whatever you want but Ive been around long enough to see this kind of stuff happen over and over again. Even when hacks were free for SW years back.... people still complain, complain and complain. If you guys dont have the patients, then start hacking yourself.  

Nothing you have said is new information. You’re just saying obvious information to belittle what has been said so far.

I have clearly written that the way users are treated when they ask for the update, is appalling and rude, especially when they are paying $120 into this site each year. Telling them to be quiet when they ask for an update doesn’t feel ‘VIP’.

This site wouldn’t exist without its donators, so to shut down their requests is a bad business model (yes this is a business).

Maybe the business model should be changed to revenue share per hack download, so that there is more of an incentive for the guys producing the work, to have some skin in the game. It’s no wonder they don’t prioritise the update of hacks when the only benefit they get is a change of status in the forum, and a lower cost of membership each month.

Saying this as a paying "customer" and being able to understand that the "modder" has their own lives to deal with.......

I don't think this would have gotten this far if archangle would have approached this in a different way. We all know that they have their own lives to deal with but basically saying "shut up and Ill get to it when i get to it" was the wrong approach. If he would have just said something alongs of "Hey guys, I know there is an update but Im dealing with XYZ right now. Ill update it as soon as I can", then I think others would have been more understanding. 

As other's have stated, treating paying "customers" like a burden is the wrong way to go about it. 

I, for one, use this membership for SW only. Ive tried other hacks/games but they dont interest me as much as SW (nor do they work as well). But like I said earlier, I do understand that modders have lives too and may be a bit more open to wait longer than others... however, hope the modders would understand too that we are their customers and should treat us with a bit more respect. Ultimately, we are the ones paying for their services.
