Update 1.15: Season 3 It’s been a long route, and here we are. Season 3 is starting right now! There’s so much new stuff: a new bunker, new events, fort Moss, fishing, swamp locations, and ATV! Being active during Season 3 is your best chance to make a good start in assembling ATV. Let’s go!

Disclaimer! The size of the update is so massive that the length of the related devblog is as long as “Lord of the Rings”, so it’ll take you a while to read it, sorry.

Survivors managed to get at the deepest levels of Bunker Bravo and that happened to be full of wonders. And monsters. Given the things happening inside, there’s been a radiation accident and everyone in there has transformed beyond recognition. The bunker comprises a lobby, three floors, and a powered-down elevator to move between them. To make it work again, you have to bring a generator.

Down there, there is a marathon of deadly entertainments where your fortunate outcome depends on the speed of your actions. When you power up the terminal, the radiation level will start growing, eventually resulting in inevitable damage caused to your health every next second. You can and should protect yourself from radiation with special equipment, Anti-Radiation Pills restoring health damaged by radiation, and ampules with AntiRad slowing down the negative effects of the radiation background. AntiRad has to be taken in advance, but if the radiation level is already fatal, we advise you to restart the terminal.

Even if using protection from radiation, you must not hesitate! Especially surrounded by rageful creatures. No one knows how long they've been stuck down there, locked in the depths of Bunker Bravo. At the end of every level, you’ll have to fight a boss for a box with rewards. Initially high value of rewards, including parts of ATV and gas cylinders stored at the lowest level, will grow with every floor cleared out.

But the rewards have yet to be obtained. The bunker will make your life complicated simultaneously in many ways, but you can even your chances a little bit. Repair the systems in the lobby to turn off two of the deadly effects at each leve

A hero service wanted! Not for free, of course. The camp of survivors from fort Moss is being attacked by zombies coming from the swamps. The walls of the fort won’t stand up to such an assault. There are even no actual walls left. Help the poor fellows to fend off and build them a strong base capable of standing up to that threat. Completing quests, constructing fortifications, and fighting off hordes will be rewarded with points forming tops of the seasonal rankings.

Top rankings differ in numbers of prizes obtained – players of each top will receive parts of ATV as a reward, but the more defense points you score and the more unique is the top list you take a position in, the more parts of ATV you will get by the end of the season. The rankings update daily, so if you are determined to get the best rewards, resting on the previous laurels won't work out. The ranking rewards for your achievements will be given out to you by the end of Season 3.

If you upgrade the location to the highest level, you will be able to fend off the daily attacks of the Horde and score extra points up to the end of the season. That’s totally optional, but every Horde fended off will bring you extra defense points, and what do defense points give? They give you more parts for ATV! So what, are you in?

The bogs and quagmire threaten to destroy us, but at the same time, they lure with their secrets. Deathly swamps are calling for brave ones! Little info is available from survivors, and it says there are two locations with different levels of danger – dangerous and very dangerous. Life here has an even uglier form we have ever seen. Get ready to meet disgusting swamp monsters.

There are new resources spotted at the swamp locations. They have been seen only there. Apart from the obvious sulfur, peat and swamp ore, corn is miraculously growing here, one can get spices. The swamps must be hiding more.

An attempt to get to the swamps on foot or motorcycle is a certain death. The only option to get there is ATV. It’s incredibly difficult to assemble this beast, but it grants you reaching the swamps alive. At least until you get out of the car. The main parts for assembling can be found in Bunker Bravo, via a slot machine at the Gas Station and can be received as the rewards in the ranking for “Defense of Fort Moss”.

The swamps reveal all their secrets to the bravest and the most patient survivors.

Bikers keep occupying locations one by one, and this time they took over Junkyard – the new rare event on the map for proud owners of Choppers of a level higher than 40. Complete a few tasks and earn worthy rewards or even parts for ATV. They say that some lucky lad managed to get a car battery.

Amazing things are happening due to miraculous Season 3. Fish has begun to return to our ponds! This means we can go fishing on a quiet bank, having put aside troubles of the zombie apocalypse for a while. Just like good old times.

Call on your inner Jamie Oliver. As apart from the pleasure in the process another advantage of fishing is cooking the fish you caught. Fish dishes cooked on a kitchen stove will give survivors special buffs.

Jane recently told a story about some weirdo that had left his hunk of junk at the Gas Station and run away like a bat out of hell. Maybe he owes money to someone. The car was so broken-down that it couldn’t be used even for parts, but it turned out to be curious in another way.

There is a prize-issuing slot machine that you will find attached to a pickup body. Everything here is beautiful: guns, C4, steel plates, aluminum plates, various parts of ATV, and a cherry on top – TRANSMISSION. Jane has already played with it and figured out the operation principles of the slot machine. It takes caps for a play that can be earned in Bunker Bravo, at the Police Station, at the Farm, for the seasonal battle pass, and they can also be found in humanitarian aid boxes. Valuable stuff is raffled in grand prize games: you turn caps over, gain 3 caps with images displaying your reward. Also, Jane said that her amigo Lenny exchanges extra caps for a new lit skin for a bike which he just drew. What a good place to park a car the weirdo chose!

Apart from bloody battles with zombies and thrilling adventures, a decent part of survival consists of routine things we do automatically. Now we have an option not to spend our time, energy and equipment on collecting resources and experience from clearing out locations. How come? There is a new feature in the window of locations allowing you to automatically clear a location for rations. Resourceful locations can be cleared out automatically as many times as you wish, Police Station and Farm – only once, and Bunker Alfa – once in each mode. Collected resources can be found in your inbox. Auto location clear out is available from level 10 for green and yellow resource locations, from level 15 for red locations and from level 35 for Police Station, Farm, and Bunker Alfa.

Together with lots of locations and events, Season 3 has brought us a whole bunch of new workbenches and recipes for crafting. Many of them are connected with new swamp resources and that’s one of the reasons to start assembling an ATV to explore the swamps. Due to a large number of new recipes, their level classification has changed a bit. Don’t worry if you haven’t reached a high level – that’s just a matter of time.

Our racks may be not as pretty as Ikea ones, but they definitely store more stuff. Now even much more! Make extra upgrades for racks with each new level increasing slot capacity by 5. So, if earlier one slot stored 20 logs/stones and other stuff, now you can increase this number up to 70! This update brought some other changes as well. Raider career can be started only at level 60 and higher, that’s when they’ll visit you for the first time. Weapon modification resources have been moved from the Police Station to Bunker Bravo, but modification blueprints have remained at the PS. To clean the infected box you now have to fill the acid bath with acid (excuse tautology) and you are gonna need filters. Look for acid in Bunker Alfa and at the swamps. Connecting rods and gas tank for ATV have been replaced with gears, they will be sent to your in-game inbox.

Ooph, we guess that’s all. There’s only a small bugfix list left: 1. Fixed the issue when a crown or figure for the 2nd and 3rd position in the ranking didn’t display. 2. Fixed the issue when quests of the Find type didn’t count if the item was taken out of a chest on location Outpost. 3. Fixed the issue with adding radiation points. 4. Fixed the issue when raiders didn’t count C4 found in the basement. 5. Fixed the issue with the turret upgrade interface. 6. Fixed typos in terms. 7. Fixed the issue when after clicking on puppy growth boost for 0 coins, locations on the global map got inactive.
